Chicken gasping for air??

This Wheaten Maran keeps gasping over and over, she was fine yesterday and everyday before. Today her face and comb and wattles are so dark red compared to the bright red of the others! She has no interest on food nor water and her crop is completely empty, she has worked up a slight but of white foam in her mouth most likely from opening and closing her mouth over and over seemingly gasping for air

Check inside her beak and throat for something blocking her airway. Is she sitting upright, or is her lower abdomen full and spongy or firm like it may be full of fluid? Is she presently laying eggs? Heart failure, liver disease, and internal laying can lead to ascites or water belly. Is she heavy or underweight? Does she have any other signs that could be a respiratory disease?
