1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)

She is an Easter egger hen, and she is 3 years old last month. Her weight seems normal compared to the rest of our birds.

2) What is the behavior, exactly.

She had thrown up a small amount and there was gurgling coming from her crop that seemed quite full. (Their crop is supposed to be full at the end of the day though.)

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?

She was fine this morning, but was found this evening sick.

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?

She is the only one.

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.

No.

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.

They have fresh drinking water changed once or twice a day, and have not had any moldy feed.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.

She is on layer feed by nuetrenna and has fresh water 24 hours a day.

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.

Runny.

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?

Gentle massaging with apple cider vinegar mixed with water.

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?

Treat ourselves.
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use

The flock has straw as their bedding.

Thank you in advance for your help!
