So I’ve had an egg pip yesterday and right now he’s stick out of the shell with his feet out. What’s everyone’s opinion? Why should I do? It’s been a while and I think he should be out by now.

Make a safety hole, check to see if blood is out of the veins that line the inside of the shell, and if so, carefully peel the shell away from the chick. If his legs are already out, he has nothing to push against to rotate himself in order to zip or open the zip. He literally can't help himself hatch.

I'm not convinced you need the safety hole, if you can see his beak and nose holes from the opening already and confirm he's breathing okay, you could just start to peel the shell back from where his feet are if the blood is already gone from the membrane.

I've only done one hatch myself, but I assisted a few, and they all made it out okay. The Articles section of the forum has an article on Assisted Hatching you might find super helpful.
