Chicken mama and egg laying

My Silkie hen hatched 6 eggs(only one of them hers, lol) and is a wonderful mother. But, I was wondering when she will start to lay eggs again? Right now the chicks are 3 weeks old. I still have them living in a separate 'house' for the night but they free-range during the day with my other hens.

I don't know, wish I did. My silkie went broody and tried to hatch. I took most of the eggs from her so she didn't really get a chance to. I put the chicks back under her when they did hatch. That's been three weeks ago and I still haven't gotten and egg yet.
