The girls are now 3 weeks old. The stand up waterer was getting nasty 5 minutes after refilling it. I saw these chicken nipples on a post and immediately order a good quantity of them! My idea was to use them in the yard. My husband saved my sanity by building a small simple version for the brooder. Our girls started using it within a couple of minutes!! Hanging this small version also allowed much more floor space for our girls. No more nasty pooey and bedding sludge to clean several times a day!! YAY!! Thank you Wayne R Taranoff! Sanity has returned!
