Chicken one eye closed and lethargic please help

Could be broken glass or shiny plastic bits.

I've seen my chickens eat bits of broken glass and plastic. I tried to stop them but it's too late they already ate it.

So I dedicated a year sifting my yard to clean it up. But I still find some on occasion from them digging but there large enough that they can't eat it. Just do my daily rounds looking for them and trash them.

Just keep giving her the coconut oil, she will eventually pass it.

And to make sure she stay hydrated, make wet feed mash in a bowl.

Just add water to feed, stir the mixture till it looks like mash potatoes and have her eat that instead of dry feed.

Is it okay to give her save a chick electrolytes in her water?

She is taking the coconut oil very well and has been for 2 days, but I noticed a small yellow rock shaped thing inside her vent. She still is struggling to poop but it is getting a little better. Any ideas what this could be?

It could just be urates, or possibly a lash egg, maybe. But I honestly don’t see anything too concerning.

Good idea! Make sure after you do that she doesn’t get cold.
