Chicken Run

I have an old driveway that is overgrown with grass. I'm thinking of placing my chicken run (10'x13') on top of where the road was. Do you see any problems with this. You wouldn't know there was a road underneath of the grass by looking at it. I see a couple of advantages for me. 1st, it would be a good solid base to place the run on, and any predator will have a harder time digging underneath the run. Secondly, they will decimate the grass under the run, and expose the gravel and there wouldn't be a muddy mess there. It could also be a source of grit. I'm thinking of moving the run along the old drive until it's grass free. Do you see any downsides to this idea?

This sounds Ideal!! The chickens will do the work for you. Should you be wanting the road back for anything else. I may be jealous, at this point!
