Chicken soft shell egg stuck in the vent area

I have 2 hens who are getting weaker and appear to have a soft shell egg destroyed inside them. I've tried getting some pieces out but no luck. It's hard when they keep moving and when they close their vent. One of them (Goldie) has been in the nest box for the whole night trying to get it out. I couldn't find a piece to snatch. My other one (Scaredy) has a piece to snatch but she keeps moving and closing her vent like I said. She usually walks away from me but now she just stays there. Is there anything I should feed them or things I should do?
