Chicken won't leave the nesting box

My hen has been sitting on eggs for the first time, she has been on the nest for a week she came off the nest and is laying on her side and has diarrhea what do I do?

So at the risk of sounding stupid. I found this page bc I have the same problem as the original post creator. I DO have a rooster so should I allow her to sit on the eggs? She has been hopping from box to box and sitting on any eggs that she can. Does she know which ones are fertile? Another question, her comb looks terrible. Should I force her to come out and get water and food or will she do that on her own?
