Chickens and bee keeping

I've recently begun to raise a dozen chicks but I'll also be starting 2 beehives soon. Does anybody have any info about the compatibility? Will the bees pose a problem ? By maybe seeking out their water...?

Most folks don't have any problems....
.......tho a story sticks in my head of someone with chickens whose neighbors commercial bees congregated en mass on her feeders and waterers because the bee keeper wasn't providing food and water to the bees during an off season situation.
