This spring I had a couple hens that became momma's, when they got big enough I started their own coop to keep them safe. I also added 9 guineas to the baby coop. Now they're all grown up. I let them mingle daily (they free range) with my old flock.( 10 girls and 1 roo) They get along great. But I have a problem! My baby roosters are trying to mate with my guineas! Should I separate them? Out of the new chicks this spring, 5 are roosters, and I know that's too many for my 12 girls. Do you think they'll figure it out that they're different? The one guinea set that one guy straight and fussed and pecked him good! Any one have both birds and can suggest what I need to do? TIA
