Chickens are eating pine shavings

My pullets are eating the pine shavings used for bedding. They seem to just love it. They of corse are still eating their feed, I just concerned that eating wood shavings is bad for them. Anyone have any thoughts on if it's ok or not. Should I use different bedding/litter?

I have been told that pine is ok but never get cedar. Mine eat it sometimes too!

Mine used to eat it also. They are now 20 weeks old and thriving. My guess is they ate less than appeared
I did change to the larger shavings around 8 weeks old and then they stopped altogether.
