Sorry that you are continuing to lose the sickest birds. I hope the rest continue to fight and become stronger. Do you feel safe with the other beehives?

and yes, i feel safe with the other hives. they are calm and gentle. i can walk right up to them to change the sugar water feeder that sits on the lids of the hives in just my normal clothes with no worries. on the day the other hive attacked the 2 remaining hives were nothing like that at all.


and i have good news. as of this morning all of the remaining chickens are eating on their own again. time will tell if there is permanent damage to their vision (their eyes are still in really rough shape) but i feel pretty confident that they will all survive at this point.
