Chickens in the garden

I have found a sure fire way and solution to keep chickens out of the garden is to use a shotgun.

Hrm. I've fenced off my garden and that works pretty well. I've also found that rocks as mulch keeps them from scratching around my flower beds.

Are you shooting just warning shots? I don't think that would fly in my urban neighborhood.
