Chickens not laying.

Our neighbors dogs got into our yard and killed 8 of our chickens. I have 6 hens left but I'm only getting 2 eggs a day sometimes none. I figured they were just traumatized but I'm wondering how long this is going to last. It had been over a week. If anyone has any thoughts I would appreciate it.

The heat too may be a factor. It has been very hot in many places lately.

It is probably the stress from losing their flock mates, I would give it another week and see if they lay eggs then.

Ok, thanks. I'll try to be patient. Fortunately it hasn't been too hot here so I think I can rule that out. Poor girls.
