Chickens Refusing to Eat

Over the past 5ish days I’ve notice my chickens haven’t even touched their layer pellet. I blamed this on the flock block I had given them and assumed they were just eating that. Everything else is completely normal. They’re drinking, foraging, and lively. Today I went into the coop and they had eaten an egg. Now I partially blamed myself for this because I would throw them raw eggs regardless of the warning I’ve seen about making egg eating chickens. I’ve never EVER had an egg eating problem before so I assumed I was in the clear. As I went to get the other eggs my one hen stormed up to the coop and grabbed the left over egg shell like she hadn’t eaten in days but she has a completely full feeder right next to her. What is happening to my chickens?

Nope. I was planning on changing it from the Layer Pellet to the Flock Raiser as soon as they finished the Layer Pellet. But they won’t eat it.

You could try mixing in dry meal worms, that’s what I did for mine when they stoped eating?

What is the date on the bag of feed?

Could the feed in the feeder have got wet? Any mold? Sometimes mold is difficult to see.

Did the eaten egg have a thinnish shell?
I'd stop feeding the flock block, and anything else but the layer pellets.
They get hungry enough, they'll eat it.

Put some fake eggs in the nests and gather eggs frequently.
