Hello all,

This is bob and Steph from MI, we recently moved onto some property started a garden and are joe loving kn to chickens, turkey, and Guinean fowl. I have built a coop and we also bought one. I have to say the one I built is better and more sturdy then the one purchased

Welcome to BYC, Bob and Steph. Glad you decided to join our flock. That's usually the case with bought pre-fab coops. Not only are they usually cheaply made, they are never large enough for the number of chickens the manufacturers claim they will house. Chicken owners are almost always better off building their own coops as long as they make them large enough and predator proof. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
