Chicks dying

I know this is an old post but my girls are doing the same thing now. Is this contagious? Should I separate from the rest of the flock?

I had 2 polish top hat chicks; a silver laced and gold laced. One started to lay down and would not get up. After laying down for so long, her neck twisted. Shortly after that she died. The next day, the exact thing happened to the other one. I hope it is not going to spread through out the flock. I still do not know what they had.
