eat!! i have 8. i need help. i always buy hens and incubate eggs. and they want to eat all the time.

Sry i don't want to sound like a smart a** but did you put their beaks in ur food bowel so they know where it is. And i think they can live up to 72 hrs without eating as soon as they hatch.

Yeah, I was going to ask how old they are.
If just a day or 2 they probably wouldn't eat.
I put chicks on paper towels and sprinkle the feed on it. They start out by eating what's at their feet. When they figure it out they'll eat out of a feeder.
