Ive had her for abt 18 mths. But yesterday when i gave her a bath, i niticed she has chocolate and black spots. What does that mean her color is?? Has anyone seen this before?? And she looks rough, shes going thru heavy molt. All her back is missing feathers and rest of body has lost abt 20 to 30% feathering.

Chocolate is a dilute of black.
If she was chocolate she would only show chocolate spots not some chocolate and some black.
I would guess maybe the chocolate spots you're seeing are black that is sun faded or the black spots are newer feathers and the chocolate looking ones are older feathers.
IDK but if she has any black she can't be chocolate.

That's a better pic and I see what you're saying.
I'd love to hear more about the birds genetics.
Chocolate is a dilute of black. If it is chocolate it dilutes all the black. A bird can't be chocolate and showing any black.
Something else going on there.
