I have searched all over in here and can't find a similar problem. I have a broody Bantam Buff Cochin momma with 5 standard sized 9 wk old chicks and under the roosting bars is much watery poo with dark bits in it. the odor is very ammonia which is odd because I just gutted the area last weekend and it's already offensive again.
They appear to be in decent weight but I haven't picked them up recently. feathers seem healthy and appetite is great. Has anyone ever had this before? Thanks for any help.
