Coccidiosis Help!

If they aren't drinking enough they won't get better.

So the ones outside are wheezing and sneezing and coughing with nasal discharge I feel like this could be something else besides cocci? I'm just nervous I'm treating for the wrong thing. But they also are puffy and one closes her eyes like the brahma.

She is still the same. Super lethargic, and eyes closed but she talks to me when I walk in the room she is in and she is still eating and drinking a lot. I am so torn as to what I should do with her. I'm not sure if I should just keep feeding her and let her go or to cull. I honestly don't think I can handle that.

Don't cull. I've saved many animals after vets recommend euthanasia or amputation or otherwise forecast doom. They seemed so bad I was afraid they'd die, but I forced my mind to believe my prayers had worked, and then continued the nursing care believing their healing would manifest.

Except for a percentage of poops being watery, mine are all looking frisky and healthy now. Don't give up. There were a few whose beaks I had to keep dipping in water every hour or two tonget them to drink, but they're super happy now.

You could call a vet and ask if you can add an antibiotic to the Corid water just in case.

Thanks so much for the encouraging words it's definitely overwhelming For me since I've never had to do any of this before with my previous chickens.

I had no problem with my first two brooder fulls, but now I know it's because the weather was cool and fairly dry. The heat, rain, and humidity caused the cocci to take over. I got bad advice to not give medicated feed. I'm mad about losing my blue and orange EE sweetheart.

Dr. Stern is one I have seen and she also works here:

There is this guy, but I know nothing about him:

The only one I *cannot* recommend is:
http://www.forthebirdsdvm.com/
Won't go into details here, except to say that I was not happy with my vistis there, nor were several other people I know.

Monterey is quite affordable compared to the For The Birds Place place and have always been able to squeeze me in.

Thanks so much Kathy! I just made an appt. for all five of them! Oh my goodness! They said the exam fee for all 5 is 110 which I think for 5 birds isn't too bad. I pay 45 for 1 dog at my vet. But I'll keep you up to date on them.
