Cochin gender(whats your guess)

My hen hatched out her own blue cochins Feb 25 and this one still has yet to get any real feathers.

Sorry no clue. I would think that something might be wrong with it being almost 3weeks old and only feathered like a 2-5day old chick. I give you a *bump*. Good Luck.

Really slow feathering in Cochins, generally means rooster.

2 of my red frizzle cochins looked like that too. They are way behind all the others in their feathering! If they are roos too, unfortunately that means I think I ended up with only 4-5 pullets out of the 24 assorted bantams I got from Ideal's first batch.

My guess is roo because of it's slow feathering. His daddy was really slow as well. Just waiting for the red comb to pop up lol
