I have a young Cochin, whom I am hoping to breed when he is older. (He's about three months old, so pretty sure of gender, but not completely certain!) Does crossing a Cochin rooster and Serama hen produce good results? My hen is about two years-ish old, and a really good bird. She's a pure serama, from good stock, and Mr. Cochin looks like he'll be handsome too. So, yes, just wondering what that cross tends to produce, and what people's experience has been with them.
