cockerel or pullet??

They should have some amount of comb under all of that. Would someone assist you so you can get pictures of birds facing forward with crest pulled or held back to expose full extent of comb?

Ok. Soooo, here are some more photos that you all asked for in order to make a more informative educated guess. :) I hope they are good enough this time. HOWEVER, we'd like to share with you though that he/she has BOTH crowed AND cackled, so at this point of 4 months old we still have no clue so please let us know what you think. Pullet or Cockerel? Thank you very much!

So we're thinking that we should maybe wait another 2 month to see if she/he lays an egg???? What do you think?
The thing is that we are not really allowed to have roosters(at least until someone complains) but we'd really really like to keep this pair if they're pullet & cockerel and unfortunately will have to rehome them if they are both roos.
