Color Theory Question

The Cochins mottling is recessive so it takes a gene from both parents to show. All offspring will carry one copy for it but none will express it.
With the black silkie all offspring will be black.
The white of the white silkie is also recessive (unless it's from paint silkie breeding) it also will pass one gene to offspring but won't show.
It depends what's under the white to say what pattern offspring will be.
Ive found most are black, black with leakage or partridge underneath so best odds would point to black or black with leakage offspring.
