Conroe Trade Days

OK, Good news- It is on and the date is Sunday October 5th
My info comes from Dan Dykes who is the state P/T tester for that area and in direct communication with the guy who puts the Conroe Trade Day on

Dan is also the one who told me that the TD was in question. It wouldn't surprise me if fees don't go up.

That's great. Since you mentioned a tester, follow up question. What's the easiest way to get them tested, how long does it take, how much does it cost? I understand they have to be tested to be eligible to sale there.

To be tested for P/T is free, it is done by the TDVM at A&M . The tester for SE Texas is Dan Dykes- 979-450-5418
Depending on his schedule and where you are at it could be 1 day up to 2 weeks but I figure about 1 week is normal

Also to sell your birds off premise you have to have a permit from the TAHC- unless you have a lot of birds it is $35 a year
No permit is needed to sell at the house.
