We were preparing for a show, when I realized that I'd left my blow dryer at the beach hotel. So, I tried what turned out to be a great alternative! The warm air from the A/C unit fluffed our Cochin right up! Except I had to turn him over to get the back side dry. He LOVED it. Thought it was spa day, and layed back and enjoyed the relaxing breeze.

Too bad I can't get the video to load. It's even more enjoyable to see!

Bathing for shows is always a big production. I'm always amazed at how calmly even the big tough roo's take getting dunked. Sometimes they are so relaxed, you have to make sure they dont fall asleep, and submurge their heads! It does make such a difference in the finished product, it's always worth the work.

Poor soaking wet Mr Pea! It stormed all night and this is him just this morning as I was leaving for work.
