We'd like to share photographic progress on our poultry coop.

Photo 1 is the south side, taken from the walk in front of our house. Photo 2 shows roof progress from the inside. Photo 3 is shot from the northwest. Photo 4 is shot from the northeast.

You can start to see the indoor/outdoor aspect of the coop from the last two shots. There will be no north wall, just fencing. There will be an interior wall between our work space and the birds. Fencing will separate the three bird chambers (chickens, geese, ducks.)

There will be three windows casting light into the work area. Total area of work space is 300 sq. ft. Total coop area is 900 sq. ft. Each bird chamber will open for birds to range out of the coop during the day.

This is quite the place! Thank you for the inspiration!

Our chickens, ducks and geese are used to seeing each other through fencing but have never intermingled. We'll experiment with mixing flocks once the new coop is done.

Wow, that's big! You're going to have a lot of fun filling that up with birds when you're finished building :)

I hope you're taking lots of pictures and will write up your build for the Coop Article section!
