Went to feed the quail this morning and one of my 5 week old coturnix quail was sitting down and eating while the others were bouncing around going crazy. I figured he was just tire, so I just let him be. I came home from work at 4pm and he was still sitting there. I picked him up and he started staring at the water, so I held him by the edge so he could drink.
He couldn't stand up he kept like tipping forward and was trying to use his beak to pull him. I ended up culling him as I didn't want any disease or bad genetics to spread. Any thoughts what it was that caused it?
