Cross breeding ducks

Has any ever had success with breeding a male mallard with a female blue swedish? I have seen him "do it" but not sure if he was succesful. Do you think the eggs would hatch? has any ever tryed this combination? Let me know what you think.

Blue Swedish are a mallard derived domestic duck. If the mallard drake successfully copulates with your duck, the eggs shoould be fertile and will produce offspring that are fertile. Muscovy/mallard derived crosses produce offspring that are mules-i.e. sterile.

Yep, the eggs will be fertile and you will have some cute ducklings. All my mallard crosses have come out pretty cool. I dont have any blue swedes but I do have mallard crossed with cayuga, buff, and magpie offspring.
