Has any one crossed White Plymouth Rock (Roo) with California White (Hen) I just hatched 4 chicks and wondering what they will look like when they are older.

Cream legbards are based on gold, not silver but they also have the gene for red dilution, which is why they are cream. If your rooster is solid white however i don't think you could make a sex link with him anyways. Dominant whites will make all their chicks white (except for spots and patchiness) and unless you know what a recessive white is hidding you probably can't use that as a sex link either.

This is Petey. His mother is a gold-laced cochin and daddy is a red pyle Brahma. He is going to be a beauty! This picture is a few weeks old - I'll have to take a newer px and update when I get off from work.

This guy is 3 months old just in the last couple weeks he sprouted all the gold feathers around his head, neck and wings. I thought they were going to be blue but curious how they'll turn out. Buff Brahma hen X splash Cochin bantam roo.
