Crowing hen

Here it is. That curved feather on the tail is new. The was another one before this one, but it fell out. The comb was tight to her head before this picture. I really hope she is still a pullet!
I wanted to believe the same thing of my 5 month old “pullet”. While older hens can crow, young crowing birds are generally cockerels. I had to rehome my boy as well, sorry ☹️

How sad. I had three sons and no daughters. Now all my pullets start crowing. I hatched 5 silkie eggs. I am pretty sure 3 of them are cockerels. I won't be surprised if they all start crowing!
