Cutting turkey wings feathers

I bought some Bourban Red's from a gal who completely cut off all of their feather on one wing at probably 6 months old. They are about a year old and have yet to grow in any feathers. Will they or did she destroy them?

They should grow back after a molt. Poor baby.

I know! I bought 3 like that and she had done it to like all 20 turkeys that she had! I hate the look let alone the fact that they can't fly because I have them in a flight run anyways! I hope they molt soon because its awful!

I don't think they will molt till fall. And they may need some extra protein to help them re-grow their feathers in.
