I just put 11 eggs into lockdown, Marans and olive Eggers. The aircells on the Marans look strange to me, and they’re so dark I can’t even tell if they’re developed or not. Thoughts?
Also, for lockdown I took the turner out, and I’m working on getting humidy up to 75%. Is that too high/low?

Your air cells are fine. No the eggs are not too close together, the chicks talk to each other through the hatch. Your hatchlings will play soccer with the unhatched eggs though so be prepared for that. Dont worry about raising the humidity too much until you have your first external pip. Good luck with your hatch and let us know how it goes.

Not necessarily unless they start to show signs of being stuck. If the zip starts to slow down or completely stop then you might have to intervene. The chicks that hatch at the wrong end, take longer to hatch but they are usually just fine. They have not spent the time with the internal pip absorbing the yolk and blood etc. so be patient.... :pop
