Exact same with my last 'first' hatch. I didn't calibrate it.You should get a separate thermometer to verify the temperature. You an calibrate it in a glass of salted ice. I had the same thing happen with my incubator and decided to 'help' the eggs hatch when they were way overdue. Lost all the babies, and later found out the temperature was too low even though the display said it was bang on.
I didn't try to help tho. I just pitched them and called it a fail.
Note the 2 temp readings... This is the hatch I have going now, External is hovering at 100 F at top of egg height. Display shows 108.5 F. (Bator was free) so I'm working with it. Humidity was calibrated and on the money
