This hatch is driving me bonkers.
Chosen One is about 40 or so hours old. She's been in the brooder, exploring, pecking, walking normally and running around. About 2 hours ago she started exploring the waterer. Typical tsc chick waterer, with marbles in the tray. Once she figured out how to get a drink, I guess she got over eager? She definitely dipped her beak too far. Lots of distress peeping at first, desperately scratching at her head, falling over from scratching. The scratching and peeping have calmed down significantly, now she's mostly sleeping. Not reacting as strongly to the other chicks pecking her or anything. When she tries to stand up her balance seems a bit off, she seems a bit confused or disoriented. When she went back to the water, it took a few tries before she could a drink. Her breathing seems normal, nothing from her nose or ears.
What happened? Water in nose, ears... something else? Is she ok?
