Thanks guys will have go at keeping mum and chicks together. Have mark eggs under her so will be taking any ones away. If she goes. Roost again next year which this is two years in a row will know to put her straight away in different area with her eggs so don't get egg hoarding

Away at the weekend he will have to do another small
Chicken pen next to our pen so our other chickens can see mum and babies so when we introduce them back into the flock it won't be as hard.

If there are no viable hatches, you might find a new born chick you could put under her. If she will accept it, it will stop her broodiness for now.
