Deworming help

How do you get your chickens to take the dewormer paste? I have tried putting it on eggs, mealworms as soon as they get a tiny taste of it they won’t eat anymore if it smells like it.

I usually draw it up in a 3 ml syringe after removing the needle. The hold the chicken, pull down the wattles or with fingers open the beak, and squirt in 1/2 ml (0.5 ml) at a time releasing the beak to let them swallow. Which paste are you using?
