Did I hatch a parrot?

Little frizzle Serama was the only one of 12 eggs to hatch that were mailed to me. Not the first chick I've hatched but definitely the first time I've experienced this level of social comfortability.

Aw such a precious baby 😍 I’m sorry only one egg hatched though 😔

I had a parrot chicken hybrid too. She was raised alone for a few weeks, although now she is two years old with her own flock.

Ooh a bigger cutie!!! I'm worried about trying to integrate this little one into my flock later. It's the only serama I have since the others didn't develop. Even the bantams will be bigger!

This is all my baby campines right now! One of the girls has claimed my shoulder as her favorite spot - hoping she stays small enough to keep that into adulthood.
It would definitely be nice if they stay so comfortable into adulthood. Minus the pooping on the shoulders 🤣

I find they grow out of that pretty fast.

Mine haven't pooped on me this week (4 weeks old), compared to all the time last week. Now if I could only get them to stop stepping in their cecal poops right before jumping in my lap, that'd be great (thinking of one roo in particular here).

Same with the first time I raised chicks... They do seem to grow out if it.
