@Sally Sunshine Did you know I was serious about wishing for your gift? I am one of those people others say they want, but really don't. I got told by a co-worker years ago that I was the bluntest person she had ever met. No games. I asked her if it was an insult or a compliment. I really try to be aware of others and not be unnecessarily blunt. Unfortunately, I get told I am intimidating. I often end up almost in tears by myself later because I try and honestly don't see how I got misinterpreted.

Do you know I think this went the wrong way?

Do you realize how blunt I am? Did you never pick up how I will say awww poor chicky and be totally ignorant of the fact that a death or illness could effect emotions in the human and that they may need compassion, its an issue I attempt to keep in mind daily and have fought this since my kids were born. I am funny yes, helpful yes, but compassion is something I work hard on and still fail with my own kids.

Im a suck it up buttercup sorta person, and most times I should take time to explain not just pass it off as I do. Kids need to understand things, anyway not sure where this is going, but we all have good things about us and things we really need to work on, but the good thing is we are all here to help each other when asked or needed. Your an amazing no frills woman, and trust me I respect that very much. I was born to live with a father who was extremely hard on me, and I in turn can be the same, but that doesnt mean its right, or wrong, I just need to find a good place in that. If it wasnt for him raising me like that, I wouldnt be able to stand alone as a woman, and you should be proud you can too.

If the toilet leaks we fix it, if the roof leaks the same, if we see something we need or want we will work hard to gettin it no matter how much work is involved. I am proud of that but at the same time it does the same as you say makes people a bit shy of you at times, mostly women for some reason, or your called mean or insensitive because your blunt, HOWEVER, it makes you stronger and stronger in many aspects and in turn you sometimes forget others dont have this inside them that we have, trust me I am so with you beautiful.

We are so much the same, except you are extremely smart and that was taken from me a few years ago unfortunately, but I have sticky notes, they got my back sometimes. You know I also admire your devotion to God Love. very much so

Its not me that attracts people, its all of us attracted to each other on these threads, we make each other smile, laugh, cry, we help each other when in need, we are huge shoulders for each other, and combined we are one he ll of a force here. I think its such a blessing to have you all, I thank God every day that I can find some happiness that I so need in my life, as well as chatter and everything else.

So keep on spreading the joy and love because Lord knows I need it bad!!

disco had a little altercation with a puppy who went to it's new home today, the puppy decided the feathers were funny on disco, so pinned her down and started pulling her feathers off her, 1 at a time. Luckily, an 8-9 week old puppy didn't do much to her, besides traumatize her, so she's been recovering in the house.

Did you know that if you put tinfoil up in the south facing windows it will reduce the heat in the house? and you dont have to use tape just spritz a little water on the window and wipe the tinfoil on with a sponge. We used to do that in Vegas. But if your windows are coated wrap the tinfoil around cardboard and hang with painters tape to the window frame.
