Last night I discovered that my year and a half old black australorp hen wasn't acting right. Upon further inspection it seems she can't stand on her her left leg, it just dangles when she stands. Her actual leg doesn't feel broken because she can bend her knee and clench her foot. Her whole leg can kind of rotate in the hip area. She is eating and drinking and doesn't seem to be in a lot of pain. I have her in her own pen away from the flock. Also, I have the leg in a sling made of vetrap. Any advice on how to get her feeling better is appreciated.
