Do drakes have one female that they mate with or do they have 2+ females they mate with?

Do drakes mate with onl one female?

They will mate with multiple hens
They will mate with multiple, but often have one special favourite 
They definitely will mate with more than one duck if given the chance, that said sometimes they do have ones they "favour" My calls are a quad.. so 1 drake, 3 ducks.
