I noticed tonight that my black Australorp had her tail feathers down. Is this something I should be concerned about? She's approximately 9 weeks old now.

Oh that's good to hear! I'm like a first time parent.
Yesterday was the first time I've seen her like that. I just came out to check her today and they are still down but she is walking around and foraging. I haven't been with them as much as usual. My mother in law is in the hospital.
