Do my pullets hate mash?

I had some organic buckwheat groats that needed to be used up, so I cooked them up today and mixed them with our layer mash, chopped up some apples and put it out for my pullets

It's the first time that they've had a hot mash. The 3 EE's hopped over - took a few bites and then ran over to me and my daughter and started making the funniest Braaawwwwwwwwww! noise. They did that loudly for about 3 minutes while we laughed hysterically.

Did they hate it or love it?

From personal experience, I would say they are telling you that this isn't what they had in mind. Offer them something else and see what happens!
