Do they get tired of it?

We have a small flock - 5 hens and 1 Roo.
Our Roo starts crowing waaaaaaay before sunrise.
I'm wondering how - or IF - this affect the sleeping (or TRYING to sleep) hens.

In nature, chickens (junglefowl) wake up well before daylight and watch and listen for predators before flying down off the roost. They can see UV light from dawn at least 45 minutes before we can perceive first light. So its probably quite normal for our domestic chickens to be awake and alert in the early morning. I doubt crowing bothers them.

My bantam roosters usually begin crowing around 4:00 am this time of the year. Of course, next year with the end of EST, that will be 5:00 am so everyone gets to sleep a bit longer.

I have been in the coop, and flinched when mine let loose with a crow, but the chickens did not seem to even notice it. I wonder if the decibels are more attuned and louder in out ears?
