See that black and white bird there? I know for sure that its a Cochin, but I'm not sure what type it is. I think its a Barred Cochin. I'm not sure if its a male or a female yet or either. Its about 7 weeks old. Do you know what it is?

I was thinking barred cochin roo....my pullets didn't get any comb until about 16 -17 weeks old.

my cockerel at a very young age (still with baby down)

Your pullets comb isn't red, the OP's chicken's is...I guess it's one of those that we will have to wait and see:)

the op's doesn't seem red either in that pic but those d'uccle's....now there's some nice cockerels

a lil to much black and what looks like a crossed beak but none the less they will make some nice little chickens

my oegb has to much white on him and i have a black "d'uccle" project pullet that i hatched from shipped eggs and her beak is crossed but i think they are some pretty birds and will be hatching from them (with her i'm trying to see if its genetics or if it was the incubation that i had problems with that caused to have a crossed beak) i also have a polish and a blue pullt with him to

gonna hatch some of them as well (all for my personal flock although extra cockerels will need to be rehomed)
