do your ducks sleep in nest boxes?

I have muscovies. My older duck and my 6 week olds get along great, so I've started letting them sleep in the duck house together. I have a nest box in there that my older one has been sleeping in at night since I gave it to her, but I notice some of the little ducks are sleeping in there too. I gave them another box, some sleep in it, some on it, some nowhere near it. But tonight I went to lock the duck door and saw a young one snuggled in the nest with the adult lol. I can't believe she tolerated him joining her.

It is not cold. It's been near 100 during the day and high 70s at night all week.

Nope, i would agree it;s after a cuddle partner.. if she's tolerant then all the better, sounds like a win-win.
