does any know why this keeps happening

evry time i get a chicken it ends up pecking my dog on the nose do u know why

Because the dog is sticking it's nose in the chickens face and the chicken doesn't like it?!

not al the time some times my dog will lay down and the chicken will come to it and peck it on the nose i ave 1 5 day old chicken that snuggle with dogs and my does get all up in its face and it just keeps snuggleing

Is your dog's nose pink? Chickens love to pick at anything that looks like red. They will also peck at anything within reach that may be food. So better question would be, why does your dog keep putting his nose within reach of the chickens?

Chickens live by a pecking order and if a dog (or cat) seems submissive, they will peck at it.

also chickens don't have hands so the only way they can test/explore things is by pecking. Maybe she is trying to get him to play with her - a lot of good dogs & good chickens like to chase each other with no harm done. My frien's house rooster likes to chase her pek-a-poo dog and they stop to rest, and then chase each other some more around and behind her couch. They love it.
