Does anyone do a small order of ducklings?

I am interested in runner ducks, but I only want 2-3. Does any hatchery do small orders of them, does anyone know? TIA!

Metzer does. It costs extra, but they will sell you only a few.

I believe Meyers Hatchery in Ohio does. I know that they will ship as few as 3 chicks. Also, if you have a tractor supply store in your area they have 2 or 3 different breeds of ducks there from Mt Healthy Hatchery. At lease my tractor supply store did. I just raised 6 baby mallard ducks and set them free on the pond.

Metzers will ship as few as two. I have 5 duckling beinging shipped May 18th.

Ideal Poultry ships small orders and does not gauge you on the postage. They are the best deal I have found yet.

They have runner ducks.

Go with Ideal poultry. You may need to get more then 3 though, I think its a $20 minimum.


I just tried it out. The minimum you can get is 6! Hope this helps!

Meyer sells minimum three chicks,not ducks..minimum for ducks is 10.

Runner Ducks! I will receive mine on Wednesday - 3 Blue girlies. I was pretty sure that minimums were 6, 12 or 15, or that you would get packing peanuts with the order. I checked in with Ideal, MMM, Meyer and the Sand Hill Conservation. Ordered mine through local feed store.
